Reading Program Grades7-8
The Lebanon Junior High School reading program is designed to help students who need reinforcement in phonological awareness,syllabication and specific decoding patterns. The students served in this program are typically functioning below grade level by three to five years.Reading,spelling and dictations focusing on word families and patterns are worked on each day. Books,magazines and short stories of interest to the student are selected to enhance their skills. I.E.P. objectives and goals are included.
